People who don't know how to play poker shouldn't play

And I really mean that. I went to a local casino with my math genius friend Huy and just wanted to have some fun. I was doing pretty well until this horrible player came to the table. In a $40 NL table, he raised pre-flop to $10. I called with As 7s. The flop came 2c 2d 7h. Beautiful flop for me. I knew he didn’t have a 2. I bet $10. He raised me all in, which was like $60. I looked at the board and peeked at him. It was quite obvious he didn’t have anything. I called. He flips over 10h Jc. He had no draws whatsoever. Turn comes a 3d and rivers a 10c. WHAT???? That crap is wack. A horrible bluff and the river saved him.

Before that guy was this one other goober. All he did was talk at the table thinking he’s this awesome poker player. I was getting annoyed at him. He raised to $8 pre-flop. I had 4d 5d and I called, hoping to catch something. Flop came 4s Ks 5c. Pretty decent since I flopped two pair. I bet $12. He stared at me and asked me if I had a pair. Obviously I ignored him. He called. Turn came a Js. I made a face showing that I was scared of the flush. I checked and he stared at me again. He bet a stack (don’t know how much). I matched it. River came a 7h. I checked and he went all in with $30. He just kept staring at me. I called. He flipped over 6d 7d. WHAT??? Then he starts talking trash like “you called my raise with 4 5?” I was thinking: “you raised with 6 7?” I read that goober like a kindergarten book. I knew he had crap. Moronic players shouldn’t play poker. Makes the game pathetic.

My good hand of the night was when I limped in just for some action. Everyone was complaining that the table was too quiet so I limped in a raise with 7s 10s. Flop came 4s Js 10c. Not bad for me since I have middle pair and flush draw. The raiser bet $12. I called. Another guy called. Turn came a 7c. Excellent. Two pair and I still have a flush draw. The raiser went all in and I called. The other guy behind me called. River came a 10h. Nice!
