OCZ Leaving the DRAM Market

Back in August 2010, OCZ announced that they will be leaving the DRAM market to focus on SSDs. After considering their current revenues, OCZ now has determined that it would be best for their capital needs to discontinue its DRAM products at the end of the fiscal year, which ends on February 28. According to a Global News Wire article, detailing OCZ’s profits and their decision to leave the DRAM market, OCZ SSD revenue climbed over 325% from the previous quarter.
