The sun is out!
Seems like the thunderstorm moved up north already. The sun is out and the crows are crowing. I can now go home safely and pick up some more memory that just arrived.
Asus P5LD2-Deluxe WiFi-TV Edition @ Viperlair
“Now the performance of this motherboard. For the most part in our ‘Office’ benchmarks and our video encoding tests the two motherboards performed fairly close, within 1-2%. Only three programs showed a marked difference between the two motherboards, TMPGEnc, UT2004 and Half Life 2. In TMPGEnc the Asus board was slower in real time then the ECS board, while CPU time was more or less equal.”
The price difference between the P5WD2 and the P5LD2 is not all that much, but for those who really need to stinge, this may just be your board. I’ve seen some overclocking results on the P5LD2 and I must say that they’re impressive.
