Almost home
Today was ECS’s Editor’s Event. Being my first invited event, it was quite fun. I enjoyed all the presentations given by Intel, AMD, Nvidia, and ATI. The only not so fun part was when I had to crawl out of bed at 7:30am. I haven’t done that since high school. I was zoning in and out at times. It’s a shame that I’m not a coffee drinker either. But the whole thing was fun. I’ll try to work some good news for you guys in the future.
Here’s the bits of news from the inbox that I wasn’t able to clear out today in the morning. Here goes…
ATI AIW X800GT - 128mb PCIe @ DH
Ooo. The first AIW card for PCI-E users. Too bad it’s not as powerful as we all like it to be. X800GT? It only has 8 pipelines! That’s like a 9800pro!!!
For those of you who still own an AGP system, here’s a better AIW card.
ATI All-IN-WONDER X800XT @ tech-mods
More Abit motherboard reviews. Ours are going to come shortly, I’ve finished testing it all already. I just need to sit down and write it.

XG Magnum 500w PSU review posted @ extensivemods
Pretty nifty for a fanless power supply. Let’s all rush Stephen (CTKP, aka Elvis) to hurry up and finish his.
Speaking of power supplies, AOpen just released their 700W power supply. I don’t think AOpen power supplies can be easily found in the States but it’s rather popular in Taiwan.
