Windows: An Upgrade Through the Years

In an experiment to see if you could upgrade (without having to reformat a drive) from Windows 1.1 to Windows 7, with every major OS in between, a man has also found out what settings made in Windows 1.1 would stick through to Windows 7. He uses VMWare and starts off with installing MS-DOS (required to install Windows 1.1). After that, he installs two formerly-popular games: Monkey Island and Doom II. From there he installs Windows 1.1 and upgrades to every major operating system up to Windows 7. The video is about ten minutes long, but it’s interesting to watch. Check it out here.
