Windows 7 Takes over Windows XP in Market Share

Windows 7 is no doubt a great operating system, and it looks like the masses are starting to realize this. Data taken from computers accessing over three million websites by StatCounter shows that Windows 7 has finally surpassed Windows XP in market share. As you can see by the chart, Windows 7 comes in first with 31.71% of the OS market while Windows XP comes in a close, close second with 31.56%.
