Toshiba Introduces Self-Erasing HDD

Toshiba, who makes all types of electronics including hard drives, announceda new hard drive. No, it isn’t another SSD. This is your regular, run-of-the-mill hard disk drive, except for one key feature: it will erase itself if connected to other hardware. This, of course, isn’t targeted at the average user. It’s mainly for government, medical, and business applications who need data security. It runs at 7200rpm, and comes in 160/250/320/500 and 640GB (pictured) versions.
