Radeon 6990 vs. GTX 590 in 11 Games
Thinking about getting a triple-monitor setup for gaming, but don’t know whether to buy the Radeon 6990 or the GTX 590 to power all of the monitors? Well, the guys over at Techspot ran some benchmarks to help you out. They used a seriously beefy rig, outfitted with the some pretty high end hardware to ensure that it’s the video card that’s the bottleneck. They used 11 games to get their benchmarks: Battlefield Bad Company 2, Bullettorm, Crysis Warhead, Crysis 2, Civilization V, Dragon Age II, Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Just Cause 2, Mafia II, and Metro 2033.
