PC Sales Declining While Apple Sales Increase

According to the research form Gartner, PC sales have been doing down while Apple computer sales have been going up. In the U.S. alone, PC sales dropped 5.9% in the fourth quarter of 2011. Apple, on the other hand, increased sales 20.7% in the same quarter. Apple is still the #3 computer maker, with HP being #1 and Dell being #2. Apple has only 11.6% of the market, while Dell and HP have 22.4% and 23.1%, respectively. You can read more about different companies’ market share and how their Q4 2011 shipments went here.
