NZXT releases Sentry LXE external fan controller

It seems like everyone is fascinated by touchscreens. Touchscreen countertops, touchscreen phones, touchscreen monitors, touchscreen refrigerators, and now, thanks to NZXT, we have touchscreen fan controllers. The NZXT Sentry LXE has 5 temperature probes, 5 fan RPM controls, and a temperature alarm. You plug your fans into a board that fits in a PCI slot then attach an included data cable that runs from the back of the board to wherever you place the Sentry LXE. Power for the fans comes through an included 4-pin molex adapter which plugs into the board. The design is interesting because you can place the device anywhere the cable reaches instead of being limited to using a 5.25” drive bay. The Sentry LXE is priced at a reasonable $59.99.
