MSI launches mainstream Fuzion motherboards with Lucid Hydra

MSI launched two new motherboards today, the P55A Fuzion and 870A Fuzion. Both feature Lucidlogix’s Lucid LT22102 chip and exclusive Fuzion Technology which is like SLI or CrossFire but let’s you use any combination of brands together. If you have two of the same brand cards, you can still use the ATI or NVIDIA technologies effortlessly in A-Mode and N-Mode. With the exclusive X-Mode, you can use a combination of NVIDIA and ATI cards. The motherboards are both mainstream products and are priced accordingly at $190 (Intel) and $160 (AMD). That price comes in much lower than the original MSI Big Bang Fuzion that costs $300 after $50 Mail-in-Rebate. The new boards should be available at your favorite e-tailer soon.
