MSI Announces Quad-Core Gaming Laptop: the GX680
MSI announced today it’s newest gaming laptop, namely the GX680. It’s specs aren’t anything super special, but if you’re interested in gaming laptops it’s worth a look. A component list taken from the press release will follow. There’s no word on pricing or availability. It’s interesting that the specifications list 2.1ch speakers. The .1 in a sound system typically indicates a subwoofer. I’ll be interested to see how they sound. There are some different features with the LEDs all around, but really they seem more like gimmicks. It does have a chiclet keyboard, as most new laptops have.
