MPAA to "Disconnect Google from the Internet"

· by John Ponio

According to Techspot, Google, as a result of their users of their free Wifi service and of their own employees, have received over 100 copyright infringement notifications. According to TorrentFreak, the letters generally include something along the lines of “Copyright infringement also violates your ISP’s terms of service and could lead to limitation or suspension of your Internet service. You should take immediate action to prevent your Internet account from being used for illegal activities.” Thus, the MPAA is threatening to shut Google off from the internet. Sadly, the wording may be strong but they barely ever go to legal action.
