Iomega 1.8in USB3.0 External SSD’s announced

Recently announced from Iomega are three 1.8-inch USB3 3.0 external SSD’s. They come in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB flavors and will be sold in early November for $229, $399, and $749, respectively. The USB 3.0 spec will give speeds that can be 10 times faster than a USB 2.0 enclosure. These aren’t your regular external SSDs, either. They are engineered to withstand being stepped on or dropped from ten feet or less. They also feature 256-bit hardware encryption, and they will come with Iomega’s cloning, backup, and anti-virus software.
