Intel Announces Firmware Fix to 320 Series SSDs

About a month ago there came reports of a bug in the Intel 320 Series SSD line which would turn a 600GB SSD into an 8MB SSD. Intel has been working hard to find a solution, and they believe that they have indeed found one that’s as simple as a firmware update. Of course, Intel is offering to replace drives who’ve called had the “BAD_CTX 0000013x” error; but for those of you who haven’t experienced this error and your drive is working fine, first of all back up everything important on the drive now, and second of all download the firmware update when Intel releases it.
