Hitachi-LG Executives Face Jail Time for Disk Price Fixing

Back in October, Hitachi and LG’s joint venture Hitachi-LG Data Storage admitted to fixing prices and rigging bids of optical disk drives, giving Dell, HP, and Microsoft a hard time in that market. Well, thanks to price fixing, the executives at the company are now facing jail time. Young Keun Park and Sang Hun Kim will serve eight months, and Sik “Daniel” Hur will serve seven months.
