· by John Ponio

Rising from the ashes of Google Buzz, Google launched a new social networking websites called Google+ (Google Plus). Currently it’s only available to a select few people, but it will be open up to more soon. This isn’t just another Facebook, which is nice. It lets you do things like put people in specific groups, like “football buddies,” and only share statuses with them. This makes things more private, so you don’t have to share everything with everyone. There are are also group chats with video, if you all want to be on camera. A better summary of how it isn’t just a revamp of Google Buzz or another Facebook and all of the cool features can be read here.
