FCC Will Ok Comcast-NBC Merger

Finally, news from the FCC that doesn’t (totally) have to do with net neutrality. The FCC issaid to ok the Comcast-NBC merger, provided they follow a list of rules to follow various laws dealing with large companies. The Department of Justice is also looking into the investigation, making sure the rules will follow the anti-trust laws that are in place. Both the FCC and DoJ are working together to make sure the merger follows all of the laws. The draft will go before four commissioners, who may make some changes to the current rules.
