Battlefield 3 Not Going to be Available Through Steam

EA announced in a forum post that Battlefield 3 will not be available through Steam. They cite restrictive terms of service for Steam as the reason. Apparently, Steam is the strictest in regards to how publishers interact with their customers via patches and other DLC. It will, however, be available for digital download through over 100 other digital download services as well as through EA’s own Origin. You can read the original forum post here.
