Apple Recalls 1TB Seagate HDs from iMacs

The 1TB hard drives in iMacs sold between May 2011 and July 2011 are under recall. Apple only said that they will fail “under certain conditions.” If you registered the iMac under recall with an e-mail address, you should have received an e-mail. If you didn’t provide and e-mail address, did not receive one, or just want to make sure a mistake wasn’t made, go here and enter your iMac’s serial number. That link also is the recall page, so you can read different solutions if your iMac’s HD is under recall.
