Apple Hopes for July Release, Releases Gold Master of OS X Lion

If you’re a fan of OS X (Apple’s operating system), you’ll be happy to know that OS X Lion should be coming out by the end of July. Apple just released a gold master version to developers, which typically means that they’re ready to ship the final product. Most of the time, the gold master is the same as the final software that’s shipped. There’s no word on a specific date, but Apple has said it will be released this month. As well, there are rumors going around about a MacBook Air refresh coming out with the new OS. Although likely, it’ll only be confirmed when it happens.
