Razer Promises Southpaw Naga MMO Gaming Mouse, Kind Of
Razer is, according to Min-Lian Tang (CEO of Razer), the “only brand in the world that makes a left-handed gaming mouse.” Southpaw gamers still aren’t happy, though, because the only left-handed mouse Razer makes is the DeathAdder. While the DeathAdder is an amazing mouse, it lacks the MMO-centric design of the Razer Naga. Because left-handed gamers are wanting more in terms of a southpaw mouse, Razer promised to do something.
Interesting side-note, Razer loses money with every sale of the left-handed DeathAdder, yet they still offer it. They said that it would take quite some amount of people to make Razer be positive if they made a left-handed Naga, but they still offered to do it, kind of. If the Facebook post about it gets 10,000 “Likes” by April 21, they will start working on designing one. Sadly, it will take a year or more from the start date to get the product rolled out. This brings up the question: won’t the Naga be outdated in a year? Props to Razer for doing this, but it would be better if they said they would design a left-handed model of a new mouse instead.
If you want to see a left-handed Naga, either to support yourself or to support your left-handed friend, head on over to the Facebook post and “like” it. More and more it seems like Razer really is a company designing things for gamers, and they’re not just a company selling things to gamers. Left-handed readers out there, does a left-handed Razer Naga get you excited? Why or why not?
