Hardwareanalysis - “ATI’s Radeon X1000 series, what to expect?” @ DH
Remember the phony R520 review by Hardware Analysis? Ouch. What were they thinking???
*“Sander Sassen has a follow up one page editorial on his previous R520 “preview” in which he had a mysterious person in an equally mysterious AIB run some benchmarks on a …. yes, you guessed it, mysterious hardware configuration.
He follows up today with some serious ass covering with comments such as “The preliminary benchmarks we’ve provided earlier, run on a pre-production card, will prove to be on the low side however. ATI has already raised the clock speeds and has done some extensive work on their drivers since then, effectively rendering them outdated.”
So there you go, as we all expected the hardware his mysterious source reviewed did not only not exist but its also now been superseded. Great journalism.“*
