Vegas Weekend
Yup I’m heading off to vegas today. I’m hanging out with my parents to make up for Mother’s Day. Hope I don’t get burned…physically and financially. Wish me luck!
Totally fell asleep last night and didn’t post news. Sorry about that. There’s plenty right now.
Got a couple of PowerColor X700 Bravo video card reviews today. Ours is done and is waiting for editing. The card’s performance weren’t very great for gamers but the use of a silent heatpipe is awesome. It didn’t help me in overclocking though.
Mainstream Video Card Review: PowerColor Bravo X700 256MB @ Hardocp
“The PowerColor Bravo X700 256MB video card may not show any improvement with a 256MB framebuffer versus a 128MB framebuffer in games, but at least it wont break the bank and does seem to perform faster overall than a GeForce 6600.”
With a price of $149, this card somewhat competes more with the 6600GT no?

Foxconn 925XE7AA-8EKRS2 Intel 925XE Motherboard Review @ EOC
With the 955x chipset out and the Nvidia C19, it’s a bit hard to really recommend a 925xe chipset.

New Ad-Aware 1.06 released @ Majorgeeks
New Ad-Aware is out. Most of you should know this already but for those who don’t you gotta get this. It’s a FREE and great antispyware program. Download it at Majorgeeks right now.

Mushkin 1GB DC DDR400 Redline @ techniz.co.uk
“The Mushkin 1GB DDR400 Redline series memory module is a very highly overclockable memory module that will meet the needs of most enthusiasts. This pair of DDR400 is one of the fastest frequencies RAM of the DDR memory range. This dual channel RAM is able to run at tight timings of 2-3-2-6 which is the best and basic requirement for a good memory module. Furthermore, with the voltage of 2.9V, it was able to hit 236 MHz which is equal to DDR 472 with the tight timings of 2-3-2-6. With a higher voltage at 3.6V, the Redline modules are able to reach 258MHz at the timing of 2-3-2-6.”
Mushkin’s Redline has been reaching some high overclocks lately. Thing is, who the heck would run Winbond UTT any looser than 2-2-2-5??? It defeats the purpose of having Winbond chips. Our review of the Redline PC4000 will come shortly and will be overclocked correctly.
Be sure to check out more news below this post. There are press release announcements and information regarding Computex events!
