Thermaltake announces two brand new lines of External Enclosures, Muse & MAX4

· by John Chen

July 2005 - Taipei, Taiwan –

Thermaltake Technology Inc, the worldwide leader in PC Thermal Management, today announced two brand new lines of External Enclosures: Muse & Max4. Following the success of initial approach into the External Enclosure market with SilverRiver Series of External Enclosures, Thermaltake formed a new division to further engineer and develop new solutions to redefine reliability, portability, class and elegance.

Today’s high-performance and high-capacity Hard Drives requires cooling in order to operate. Traditional solution often requires the use of fans, which generated unwanted noise. Thermaltake, with their expertise in Thermal Management, engineered an innovative method to effectively dissipate heat away from the Hard Drive without the use of fan. Both Muse and Max4 Series Enclosures are completely manufactured with Aluminum that is able to transfer heat away from the source and dissipate silently through natural convection.

Muse and Max4 are both available in 5.25”, 3.5” and 2.5” specification in order to accommodate different need and application. With the industrial-quality Cypress AT2+ Chip, users can enjoy the reliability and compatibility of data transfer or backup.
