Corsair XMS2 PC2-4300 Pro 1GB DDR2 @ Overclockers Online
So far it’s been the best DDR2 memory I’ve tested…at least until my sample of the 5400UL gets here. It looks great and it overclocks extremely well. You can check out our review of it HERE.
GeForce 6800 Ultra and GeForce 6800 GT SLI game play evaluation @ bit-tech.net
Theoretically SLI is awesome. But because of the CPU bottleneck, I’m just going for a single card.
NVIDIA’s next high-end GPU to support TurboCache @ bit-tech.net
If you’ve been keeping track of our daily news, you’d know that I’ve been flaming the TurboCache or HyperMemory technology. Why waste it on such crap cards? Well that seems no more. That kind of technology would be great for high end cards, and Nvidia is gonna do it! Yeah baby.
Club-3D ATI X800 PCIe 128Mb Review @ HardwareXL
Believe it or not, the X800 (non-Pro, non-XL, non-XT, plain vanilla) is the card I use for my current gaming system. It’s already powerful enough to run all my games at 1280x1024 4xAA/8xAF at over 80FPS.
Prometeia Mach II GT Phase Change Cooler Review @ PCStats
Phase change cooling has always been awesome for extreme overclockers and benchmarkers. I’ve always wanted to play with a cascade and finally had a chance to work with a 2-stage, but with new AMD cores not liking all the cold, I find it quite useless now. Perhaps just a Mach II GT would be perfect. It’s not too cold and still able to “freeze” your CPU.
