283000$ Turion notebook @ AMDboard

“If you’re looking for a cheap lady’s notebook, then the Tulip E-Go Diamond sporting a low-power AMD Turion 64 is the one. Inlaid with solid palladium white gold plates with thousands of brilliant cut diamonds, the Tulip E-Go, in its Diamond version, will be yours for a mere 283000$. Of course, if you don’t feel like spending half of your week incomes for the mermaid of your dreams, you can still go for a cheaper version with something more sober like Louis Vuitton, red snake skin or flower power case. On the technical side, the Tulip E-Go is a solid performer. Under ATI Radeon Xpress 200M control it has everything to satisfy Ms. prefect’s dream: AMD Turion 64, 12.1” TFT up to 1280 x 800 resolution, 100GB HDD, built-in camera, microphone, speakers, Li-Ion battery pack for 4 hours of continuous emotional stimulation (that’s feminine terminology, real men would have said 4 hours of… frag ’em all!) and much, much more…“

White gold and diamonds on for your computer anyone?

Radeon X800 XL 512MB PCI-Express @ TheTechLounge

The new beefy card from ATI looks to be a lot bulkier with the additional 256MB. But is the price worth it?
