FSP Group 350w Aurora and 400w Silent Kit Review

· by John Chen

Speaking of power supplies, Gurureview has some FSP power supplies to suit your needs. 350w might be cutting it close, but that 400w kit with the fans are pretty nice. Great for modded cases.

“The heatsinks in this particular PSU were not all that big, but with a large 120mm fan cooling them and their surroundings there were no apparent issues during testing. Having taken a closer look of the PSU I also found three potentiometers (POTs). These can be used for adjusting the output DC voltages or setting the maximum voltage at which the PSU is set to cut out on a particular rail. In this particular PSU I saw no need to test these POTs as the PSU worked perfectly out of the box with completely stable rails which were spot on what they should have been.”
