The Sound of Silence: Building a Quiet PC @ Puget Systems

We all know that having the fastest overclocked system requires lots of fans for cooling. But wouldn’t it be better if it was highly overclocked AND silent?

“It’s easy enough to make a fast computer…what’s not easy is making a PC like that quiet!”

Enermax EG701AX 600W PSU @ Viper Lair

Now here’s a beefy power supply that fully supports SLI. Although I’ve had bad history with Enermax PSU’s, I’m beginning to like them again. Just check out their efficiency rating!

“While the Enermax EG701AX-VE-SFMA24P does not have modular cables, many reputable PSU makers will probably tell you that ideally, you’ll want cables drawn directly from the PSU to your components for the best reliability. The EG701AX was just that; a solid and reliable PSU with plenty of power when you need it.”
