NVIDIA Touts ARM Processors as the Processor for High Performance

Sumit Gupta, director of HPC products at NVIDIA, recently said that ARM processors are better than x86 processors for higher performance applications. Because x86 processors never had to worry about power when they were first being designed, the idea of limitation of power never really was there. But since ARM came around with its embedded processors, power is a big deal. They had to start with only one watt of power and make performance come second. This made ARM processors extremely efficient while using barely any power, but not as good as x86 processors for everyday use because they don't have to account for random inputs (such as from a mouse or keyboard). Check out the video of him talking about this here.
