If you've been paying attention to PC gaming for a while, you probably know that game developers have been getting crazier and crazier with their DRM policies. One of the craziest schemes so far came on Ubisoft's From Dust, which required players to be constantly connected to the Internet in order to play. If your internet drops for a second, you'd be kicked out of your game. Fears have been growing that the wildly anticipated Assassin's Creed Revelations would use this same DRM, but it has been recently announced that it will only require a one-time online activation. After that you'll be free to play, Internet connection or not, for as long as you like. You can read the source here.
