Verizon has recently been sending out e-mails to customers telling them about their most recent change in their privacy policy. Verizon will start to share browsing history, app and device usage, andĀ location data with third-party advertisers. While that's pretty much everything they could share, they won't share anything that will identify you personally. The reason they want to share this information with third parties is for targeted advertising, which means you will start to see ads that are closer toward what you're interested in. Luckily there is an opt-out feature, so you won't have your information shared if you don't want it to be. Read here about their new policies. Go here if you'd like to opt out, or callĀ 1-866-211-0874.
