Acer's Chairman Doesn't See Tablets as a Problem for Notebooks

Acer's chairman JT Wang recently commented on the effect of tablets on the notebook market, saying that the "tablet fever" is already waning and people are started to get more interested in notebooks and quite a few people are interested in ultrabooks according to their surveys. Companies such as Acer, Dell, Toshiba, HP, and Lenovo are planning on launching ultrabooks in late 2011 and early 2012. Ultrabook shipments are expected to reach 25-35% in 2012, and JT Wang claims that Windows 8 is a big reason why that number will get so high. Read more on this here.
