A while ago we posted about Apple negotiating unlimited downloads for users who bought songs on iTunes, so if somehow the songs got deleted then the user could simply re-download the songs. This also led to speculation of a cloud music streaming service, which is actually moving forward. Apple has reportedly signed deals within the last two months with record labels such as Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony, and EMI. For internet-connected iPhones and iPads (maybe Android phones, but there are both sides to that idea), this deal could mean that you wouldn't have to locally store music; you could simply stream it. Check out here and here for a little more information.
