Not surprisingly, Intel has come out with a new SSD that's even smaller than others on the market. At only 51mm long, 31mm wide, and 5mm thick, this m-SATA form factor SSD packs in either 40GB or 80GB of 32nm NAND flash memory connected via mini PCI-express. Because it's so small, it can be used for dual-drive all in ones, meaning you can pack two of these in the space of a normal hard drive. The 40GB model will be priced at $99 while the 80GB model will be priced at $179. Both will be available some time next year as the first of a new wave of Intel SSDs.
