In less than 2 years, Google's Chrome web browser has been able to pass Apple's Safari and rank third most popular internet browser. The data comes from web analytics company StatsCounter which analyzed 3.6 billion page views (874 million US) from June 21-27 2010 spread over 3 million websites. In the US, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer has 52% of the market, Firefox 28.5%, Chrome 8.97%, and Safari 8.88%. All those Chrome ads on Youtube must be paying off.
