Intel updated their notebook CPUs on June 20th with a couple new models and prices. XM is the Extreme Edition. QM is the normal quadcore. UM is ultra mobile. Plain M is dual.
There will be a price drop on the i7-640UM in July and new dualcore i7-680UM, i7-660LM, and i5-560UM in September. The low-end line will be getting a Celeron P4600 model and 45nm Pentium T3500. The P4500 will be phased out and the Pentium T3300 will drop to $80 from $86. Netbooks will gain a dual-core 1.5Ghz Atom N550 model in Q3 for$86.
