Back in June, VIA's $49 APC, which is an Android-powered computer similar to the Raspberry Pi, was made available for pre-order. Late last night I received and e-mail saying that the product was finally released. It's sold out, of course, but at least some people got some. Below is a chart of its specifications, as a quick reminder:

Item Description
Software Android 2.3 (PC System)
Chip VIA 800MHz Processor

DDR3 512MB Memory
2GB NAN Flash

Built-in 2D/3D Graphic

The bootloader and kernel for the APC, as well as other pertinent information, is available for free here, if you want to do some developing for it. The Newegg product page can be seen here. No word on when new stock will come back in.
