Ubisoft Server Change Will Cause Some Games to Be Unplayable

Ubisoft will be moving their DRM servers starting on February 7, meaning that some games will become completely unplayable during the down time. There are only a few games that will be completely unplayable. Most games will just lose their online content for a while, but offline-mode will work as it should. Following is a list of games that won't be affected and a list of games that will be completely unplayable. 

Games that won't be affected:

  • Anno 2070™ for the PC
  • Assassin’s Creed® Revelations for ONLIVE
  • Assassin’s Creed® Revelations for the PC
  • Assassin’s Creed® Revelations for the PS3
  • Assassin’s Creed® Revelations for the X360
  • Driver® San Francisco for the PC
  • Driver® San Francisco for ONLIVE
  • Driver® San Francisco for the PS3
  • Driver® San Francisco for the X360
  • Just Dance ® 3 for the X360
  • The Settlers ® Online (PC web-based)

 Games that won't be playable at all:

  • ASSASSIN'S CREED ® for MAC
  • Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.® 2 for the PC
  • Might & Magic : Heroes VI for the PC
  • Splinter Cell Conviction® for MAC
  • The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom™ for the PC
  • The Settlers ® for MAC

All other games lose online services but offline playing of the game will remain the same. You can read the announcement here
