NVIDIA has recently released a new beta driver, version 295.51 - BETA. There's a whole slew of new these, so let me condense it:

  • Adds/updates SLI profiles for: 7554, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Mass Effect 3, Oil Rush, ad Red Faction: Armageddon
  • Adds support for 3D Vision windowed mode on DLP HDTVs and on Optimized for GeForce passive 3D monitors
  • Adds/updates 3D Vision profiles for a whole host of games (listed on the driver's download page)
  • Updates PhysX System Software to 9.11.1111
  • Updates HD Audio to version 1.3.12.
  • Fixes instances where the GeForce GTX 590 fan unnecessarily increased to 100%.
  • Fixes instances of driver timeouts while simultaneously watching multiple videos.
  • Adds edit/delete option for custom resolutions.

This beta driver supports most video cards, but make sure to check out the compatibility list on the driver's download page if you think you want to upgrade. Just a note, the linked download page is for Windows 7 and Windows Vista 64bit, so if you have a 32bit operating system make sure to go here and enter in your system information to make sure you download the right driver. If you don't know what you have, simply click Start, right-click on Computer, and click Properties. Under the System section on the window that pops up, it will say if you have a 32bit or 64bit operating system after System Type.
