Razer Tiamat 7.1

The upcoming Razer Tiamat gaming headset has sadly been delayed, but Razer is offering some compensation for the delay. It was said before that it would be released in January, but as it's January 31 and no product is out, obviously there is a problem. A reason fro the delay was not given, but they did say that the headset will be released in February. Part of the press release said,

"This is the last thing we want to tell you, especially since so many of you have been patiently waiting. Understandably you are bummed, and so are we. We feel our relentless pursuit of quality, and our refusal to ship a “good enough” product will pay off when you plug in your pair and hear them for the first time. We do not take delays lightly, and you can bet your ass we are busting ours to make this product perfect."

For compensation for the delay, Razer is offering a code that will give you a free Razer t-shirt and flask when you buy the headset once it's released. If you're planning on buying the headset, make sure to head on over to the product page and click the "Stay Notified" button and enter your information. After that they'll send you the code for the free swag.
