UFO Knock Off/Shelf
Well I went from this:
to this: heres entire pictures http://img184.exs.cx/gal.php?g=casedesignpic22 vf.jpg but anyways story time I saw and wanted a UFO U2 case, but not for the hefty price, so I was helping my uncle move some stuff in his funeral home (good stories always start where dead people are), and saw one of the big metal shelfs, and thought to myself, "I can use that for something". so i go to my hardwar store, buy a $20 shelf (CDN too) and get some good dremel discs and have at it there were 5 shelfs so i couldnt have a complete box outa the shelf, had to use a mobo tray from old case and leave the other half empty, which came in handy once i saw the wonders of watercooling of course because its not a profesonal job (although now i am starting to build these for people) there is some bends and warps in the case, but thats because it took me 2 days including painting time, so i think it was a good hurry job. the windows are actually picture frame glass (ya) i fit just about anything in that case, and i mean anything, i could put a phase change system in it if i had one ![]() |
