Stock air?

NO, Its a Dynatron Socket 370. All copper, its about 2.5 times as thick as a 1u heatsink. With it modded I benched it at 525 and it could do 510 artifact free.

I was just wondering because the first post said stock air cooler overclocks.

How about one of these?

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?descr iption=35-106-039&DEPA=1 Crazy found it....I think its a good sink and would fit nicely on and MX440

that heatsink is a little to big to fit on a radeon card... would have to chop parts of the heatsink to clear some of the stuff on the pcb... (i think)
but most of it should fit... maybe make some ramsinks outta it.. who knows

Yup thats a point, I had to cut a little off one of the corners on my 9600xt modded sink to get it to fit. Im sure that it wouldnt be too hard to do the same with the 2u sink.

I only tested at 412/365, w/ stock cooler, but it got chess-boardy, so I stopped.

In my sig, and still air cooled as of now (no volt mods either)... I think it has more room now with the new air cooler (Artic VGA Silencer dropped it 10 degrees celcius from what it was just prior) I put on it a few weeks ago, but I havent tried yet. Not like it is slow...
