hey, i was wondering if i buy HL2 in a store, the $50 pack, will it give me CS 1.6? some people say yes, some say no. i really dont want to buy HL2 and support Valve but i just love CS and cant live without it. my bro is using my 1.6 cd key so i need another one.

depends on what version oyu get. IF you need CS, you can buy just CS i believe.

I don't know about buying it in-store, but if you purchase the silver edition over steam you get hl2/css and DoD:source plus their back catalog. Otherwise, I think the retail version only has HL2/dm and CSS.

yeah i could just get 1.6 but its like $20 and with my rig i want to play CS:S too. i know that u get it w/ SILVER package...... i am asking about the regular edition from store. the reason i want to buy from store is coz i want to have CDs and can get it cheaper.

Nope. Store version only comes with HL2, DM, and CS:S.
