I miss when you bought a new cpu it actually felt faster doing everything, these days its just not as impressive or something.

i used to run a k6-3 system but changed it for a t-bird when the 1.2 ghz became cheap enough. while i suppose it was twice the speed it just felt so much more beefy, like i could do anything with it.

i miss that =(

there's so many core comes to my mind. I am not sure are we talking about the very first amd core that overtake intel or the one that clearly overtake intel's performance.
